Fun Friday

RyAnne was SO excited to go to school today. First of all, it was CRAZY day. Also, Grandpa Carter took her in and they had breakfast at school so he could learn more about the WATCH D.O.G.S program (Dads of Great Students) in her school. This program is a safe-school initiative of the National Canter of Fathering that involves father and father figures volunteering in schools to make them more safe. Grandpa is going to be a WATCH D.O.G at her school!

Bailey's First Movie Trip

Mom took the girls to see Tangled. It was Bailey's first time in a theater and she was REALLY excited!

Luckily, we found a spot in the back where my little wiggle-worm could, you guessed it, wiggle. Actually, she was VERY good. She enjoyed her popcorn and pop and the movie - laughing her loud, "A-HA" at the funny parts :-)!

Missing You...

Missing You....

This was in the subject line in an e-mail I got from RyAnne's teacher yesterday.

My first thought - Missing me? WHy is RyAnne's teacher "missing me"? Did I sign up for something and forget about it?

Then I read the e-mail:

Hi Mom,

It's me, RyAnne! I was just wanting to write because I am missing you very much today! Ms. Whalley assures me that I'll be okay, but we wanted to write you an email anyway.

I love you very much and wish you'd make some cookies. I think they're really yummy tasting.

Can't wait to see you in an hour or so:)

We took the kids to the Flower and Model Train Show at Olbrich Gardens over winter break.
