Florida Trip

Our trip to Florida from March 21 - 27 was SO much fun!  The weather was perfect!  We stayed at a beautiful 2 bedroom condo in Windsor Hills. Aunt Cathy, Uncle Dave, and family were right down the road from us!     Zach and RyAnne LOVED the huge pool at Windsor Hills  and the first day we spent a relaxing day swimming in it.  Monday we were off to Animal Kingdom.  Dad and Zachary got soaked on Kali River Rapids and the kids dared ~ it WAS scary!  We got our pictures taken with and autographs from Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto.  The next day we spent a day in the sun at Typhoon Lagoon.  Dad and Zachary enjoyed getting knocked down by the 6-foot waves in the surf pool and Zachary had his first snorkeling experience at the Shark Reef.  RyAnne played in the watery play area Ketchakiddee Creek and enjoyed playing in the white sand while Mom relaxed in the sun.  The next day we hit the Magic Kingdom and were one of the first families in the park!  We never had to wait longer than 15 minutes for a ride and RyAnne got pictures and autographs of Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, and Peter Pan.  RyAnne was chosen to be an honorary driver on the Jungle Cruise and Zachary drove Mom around the Tomorrowland Speedway (WHIPLASH!)!  We all still loved the Pirates of the Caribbean and at the end of the night rode The Barnstormer, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Splash Mountain several times because there was NO lines.  Yes, RyAnne could barely see over the seat on Splash Mountain yet she loved it ~ giggling and screaming the entire ride!  On Thursday we had a beautiful day at Clearwater Beach.  Dad and the kids splashed in the ocean and RyAnne and Mom collected shells.  We had lunch with one of Dad's co-worker and family at Frenchy's and then went on a Pirate Cruise!  The kids (and Dad - embarrassing!) go their faces painted and the pirates entertained the kids the entire trip!  To top it all off we saw dolphins swimming!

We had a wonderful, relaxing trip, however, we all missed Dakota and Bailey (who stayed at home with the grandparents) and couldn't wait to get home and see them!

BEDTIME!

Dakota is just like Mommy - he hits a wall when he's tired!  Okay...and maybe when he is mad about something too.

CRAFTS! CRAFTS! CRAFTS!

RyAnne LOVES to make crafts.  She is always drawing, coloring, cutting, and pasting!  Here is a picture of our family - belly buttons and all!

Daddy & Daughter Time

Usually from 8:00 p.m. to 8: 30 p.m. Pete and RyAnne play the Wii or cards...... this night RyAnne wanted to do her sand craft with Dad.

Winter Exercise

Yes, we are tired of being cooped up all winter!  Luckily, Santa gave us a bounce house to help relieve some of our energy.  The kids get pretty wild playing in the bounce house - giggling the ENTIRE time!

RyAnne's Classes

RyAnne loves keeping busy so we signed her up for several classes this winter.  She is currently taking intermediate Spanish, Cooking with Friends, and swimming.  She loves socializing with other kids her age and is such a good student!

What a Couple Weeks....

Now this week the flu is going around our house. Bailey got it first..and the worst. She was SO sick! All she did was sleep, vomit, and diarrhea for 5 days! We took her in to the doctor's twice because she was so sick. Then, Dakota, Mom and Zach got it! Luckily, Dad, and RyAnne have avoided the flu...so far!

You know the babies are sick when they lay in front of the t.v. at 6:00 at night!
