Back-to-back zoo trips for Mom. First, Dakota and Bailey's kindergarten class took a trip to the Henry Vilas Zoo.
The next day off to the Milwaukee County Zoo with RyAnne.

C.A.R.E.S. Recipients

Spring Break in Chicago
Fun time shopping in downtown Chicago.
Bailey got an American Girl doll, Caroline.
We visited the Museum of Science & Industry and had a blast!
That is a REAL tornado behind Dakota & Dad! YIKES!
Loved our hotel! It had a pool, free meals, a great view, and a separate room for Dad & Mom to sleep in.
We ate at the Rainforest Cafe....
and the kids FAVORITE Ed Debevic's. A 50s diner where the waitstaff danced on the tables and were rude to the customers!

"Spring?" Concert
RyAnne had her "Spring Concert" the day before the first day of spring. With more than a foot of snow on the ground and temperatures in the teens it felt nothing like spring. However, if you listened to the "springy" music and closed your eyes you could imagine warmer weather.
Her favorite part was playing the music departments new instrument, the glockenspiel. She was proud that she memorized her parts.

We headed up to the the square for Winterfest this weekend.
Dakota & Bailey giggled down the tubing hill.
RyAnne tried her hand (or feet) at cross country skiing.
